Pagi menjelang siang di hari Ahad ini semoga mendapatkan ispirasi yang baik untuk meningkatkan amal, usaha, dan derma. Dalam hidup harus ada pergerakan. Motif itu terkadang timbul dari dalam diri sendiri dan dari luar. Sebisa mungkin harus dapat inspirasi untuk hidup lebih baik.
Ditengah-tengah kegiatan membaca-baca buku asuransi umum dan secara khusus Islam, terselip satu sabda dari Nabi Muhammad saw yang sangat mengena di hati hingga terbawa dalam renungan. Dan setelah itu perasaan menerima memang demikian adanya.
Artinya:
Abu Ya'la dan Al-Bazzaar meriwayatkan sebuah hadits dari berbagai jalur, salah satunya dari jalur Hasan yang menerima hadits dari Abu Hurairah Rahiallahu 'anhu. Abu Hurairah mengatakan bahwa Rasulullah saw bersabda: "Kalian tidak akan bisa mencukupi manusia dengan harta kalian. Tapi di antara kalian bisa mencukupi mereka dengan cara menampakkan wajah ramah dan akhlaq yang baik."
Itulah saudara,
Meskipun kita semua tahu, bahwa akan selalu ada yang suka dan tidak suka terhadap apapun yang anda lakukan. Dan anda tahu anda tidak akan mampu memuaskan mereka. Tapi dengan keterangan ini Rasulullah saw memberikan solusi yang sangat baik untuk anda.

Jangan salah paham dengan hadits ini. Anda pun masih harus menyadari bahwa meskipun akhlaq anda sudah sangat baik namun anda pun tidak bisa memuaskan dan mencukupi. Namun dengan demikian anda diampuni bahkan diberi reward yang sangat pantas.

The major issue for some Muslims is that conventional car insurance can be seen as a form of gambling which Bradley Brandon-Cross continues to explain; "In return for paying the premium, the policyholder gets peace of mind and in the event of a valid claim, the claim settled. This brings elements of uncertainty and, in the view of Muslims, gambling, into the contract as one of the two parties will make a loss, especially the policyholder if no claim occurs."
In 1970s Sudan a concept know as Takaful was invented to help get around the gambling concept associated with conventional insurance policies. Takaful offers the same amount of protection as every day insurance policies, but operates in a different way. Instead of betting against the likelihood of any misfortune Takaful insurance participants pay a certain amount into a pool which is invested strictly in Sharia compliant investments and any profits made are distributed back into the fund.
This type of insurance can be best described as a co-operative style of insurance where any person who needs cover must be able to donate to other participants who face difficulties. This whole idea is based on the philosophy of bearing another burden, strictly non profit, and is there to help the policyholders when they need it.
